Why I Love Teaching Watercolor

This workshop takes a deep dive into the art of painting watercolor florals. I'll show you how to paint THREE types of flowers including this peony, hydrangea, and whimsical wildflowers.

Step by step instructions on how to create soft glowing base layers in watercolor.

Layering

You'll learn how to glaze over dry layers and enjoy the transparency of watercolor.

Paint this Hydrangea

Taking a looser approach to watercolor, I'll show you how to capture the fluttery petals of this blue and purple hydrangea using both a flat and round brush.

Chickadee & Snowman 

Paint these two cute characters! Learn how to create snow covered branches, atmospheric backgrounds and feathery details in this fun workshop.
